A new Covid variant has been identified in South Africa on the 24th of November, cases of Omicron Covid as doctors call it have been identified in USA, UK, Italy, France, Botswana, Japan, Australia, Denmark, Belgium, and more. World Health Organisation has said that the new variant is most likely more transmissible than Delta variant, it is still too early to tell if the new variant is more dangerous or anything about the variant, but WHO is speculating that Omicron has a transmissibility advantage over Delta because more cases are being detected very quickly
