The first confirmed death from the Omicron variant has been found in the UK. However, the Prime Minister has chosen to keep restrictions the same before Christmas. There has been a large push on getting adults their booster vaccine. By the end of the year, there has been a goal to get everyone over the age of 18 a booster vaccine. Currently, anyone over the age of 30 can start booking for a booster online. This will soon extend to over 18’s on Wednesday.
Remember to keep safe by wearing a mask in public spaces and regularly washing your hands. This can help a lot because of how transmittable the new Omicron variant is.
