Ikea is commonplace for DIY with most of their products requiring customers to do the rest of the work such as setting up cupboards etc. These types of projects make you more creative by teaching you new skills and keeping you active. It increases social bonding with others when creating or completing a project together. However, not everyone can properly do a DIY, since some products are not as advertised. Other projects require a lot of tools which can be expensive, in some cases, cost valuable time. Despite the cons, DIYS are interesting and worth a try.
