MP David Amess was stabbed in his Local Constituency of Southend West, he was attending a Local Surgery, talking to members of his Constituency inside a local church. The incident has been labelled as a terror incident with 2 people being taken in by the police for suspicion of the Killing of Sir David Amess. MPs in the House of Commons had a minute of silence for the MP, with some MPs, family members and the PM holding speeches about the Sir David with the Prime Minister saying “We are shocked and saddened by the murder of Sir David Amess, who dedicated 40 years of his life to serving his community”. With his town Southend being given a city status in honour of the Late MP.
