Pandemic pets involved adopting a pet from pet centers during lockdown, as most people would spend more time at home. It gave comfort to people and allowed them to have some sort of peace in their life due to some experienced anxiety increase in Covid-19. People were able to take their pets for a very refreshing walk.
However, as restrictions were lifted and most people went to work, it put a stop to this. It forced some to return their pets. This was disheartening, as some pets had found comfort in their new homes, only for it to be taken away.
