Stop using plastic packaging:
You probably already know this one, but it’s a very basic step! Reusable water bottles and coffee mugs are simple to come by these days, and some cafes will even give you a discount if you bring your own. This is a good step to help Climate Change as the usage of plastic is minimized.
Use public transport:
This isn’t always possible if you live in a rural location, but if you live in a town or city, make use of public transportation whenever possible. Many bus companies are even investing in electric cars, which help to minimise local pollution. Because air travel emits far more carbon than land vehicles, minimising the number of trips you take is a wonderful first step. Staycations, international trains, and ferries are all excellent options.
Plant more trees:
In the fight against climate change, trees are crucial. They absorb and store carbon that would otherwise stay as a greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. The more trees we plant, the better, and we’ll need to plant millions to make a difference.
